New project in Development!

WarpedCore Studio's first major project is an as of yet unnamed game where players battle it out in a race for riches. The game focuses on split screen multiplayer platforming gameplay where each participant must traverse the stage in search for gold while avoiding various hazards unique to each level and contending with opponents who would opt to steal their treasures rather than find their own.

Some of the features that will set this project apart include tight controls, fierce combat, fast performance, and of course, top notch artwork. While the game is still early in development, there is strong progress on each of these features.  As an example, the diver which players take control of throughout each match features controls that adjust depending on what part of the stage he is in (running vs swimming for example) while still feeling natural, consistent, and fast.

Another unique aspect of the game are the terrifying creatures which inhabit each stage, each with their own array of vicious attacks . There is one in each stage, adding a new level of fear to each match. Of course, having such a savage beast just around the corner at any given time might seem daunting without some way to help even up the odds, but that's a topic for another day.
